ACTING...

In 2003 I took the stage for two productions in my hometown of Marshfield, WI. I most recently performed in an original play written and directed by Robin Roberts titled "The Lizzy Borden Show: A Speculation." Prior to that I played Scoop Rosenbaum in "The Heidi Chronicles." Both were performed at The Helen Connor Laird Theatre in Marshfield.

I performed in a number of plays at the ROCHESTER CIVIC THEATRE in Rochester, MN in 2001-2002. Here are a few:

"Becket", "The Curious Savage," "The Crucible," "Alice In Wonderland," "Kiss Me, Kate" & "You Can't Take It With You".

I was also the "Official Spokesperson" for APOLLO LIQUOR in Rochester, MN. I did numerous TV and Radio ads for Apollo Liquor in 2002.

I have participated in numerous Video Projects with MAYO CLINIC over the past 3 years as well.

WRITING...

I am currently working on an original screenplay titled "THE CRAYOLAŽ KID." It is a Family script with a very positive message of Acceptance...

"The CrayolaŽ Kid" Logline:

Cody Olan, a ten year-old with Young Onset Parkinsons Disease loves art, but has been told he cannot draw due to his disability. When he receives a tin of magical, mix-matched crayons he quickly learns from a colorful cast to accept who he is and that he can be an artist -- as he in turn shows the crayons that their differences make each of them unique and equally important.

My screenplay "SECOND CHANCES" received Top 5 recognition in the Tennessee Screenwriting Competition in 2001. It is a 116-page Sports/Drama.

"Second Chances" Logline:

Alex Stevens, a college football star on the verge of going pro, receives life-changing news from both a doctor and an old high school girlfriend. Alex must now choose his path as he learns about second chances in life -- the ones we get and the others we don't.

"LASTING IMPRESSIONS" is a 104-page Romantic Comedy I wrote in 2002.

"Lasting Impressions" Logline:

Fate and Destiny brought Dean and Jennifer together seven years ago, if only for a brief instant, yet making a lasting impression. When they meet again, not recognizing each other, they make a connection that is quickly challenged, since they are both hung up on their pasts, while their futures pull them in separate directions.

** I am always creating new story ideas and developing potential stoylines for future scripts which I plan to write...

EXCITING NEWS!!!
Making Headlines...

2005 Ford Video Casting Call Winner "Shining Star"

In 2005, I entered the Ford Video Casting Call (co-sponsored by American Idol) for a second consecutive year.

After a period of online voting, my music video set to Earth, Wind & Fire's hit song "Shining Star" finished in the top spot! In it, a passerby breaks into song when he spots a shiny red Ford Focus. The businessman/owner of the car, spots him checking out his car and after a brief interaction, they both go their merry ways. I filmed, edited and directed the video in addition to playing both roles and singing all vocals. It was a blast to do!

My prize was a 2005 Ford Focus ZX5 and a week long trip to Hollywood to see the American Idol finale which featured Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice! Since I had tickets for two, I had the priveledge of taking my Mom along. We each had the time of our lives and I cannot wait to return to L.A.

Of course I couldn't have done any of this without the local support and of course the voting by people in the Central Wisconsin area - particularly in my hometown of Marshfield, WI.

I also entered the Ford Video Casting Call (co-sposored by American Idol) in 2004, finishing as the runner-up. I filmed, directed, edited, starred in and performed the vocals for a video of the song "Life Is A Highway" by Tom Cochrane. I made it to the Finalist Round out of hundreds of videos, but fell just short in the online voting which solely determined the winner.

In my video, I played 3 brothers (triplets) who leave snowy, cold Wisconsin in an old Ford van to pursue their dreams of making it big in Hollywood!
